Color Palettes from external Image file

A request that I have received a few times : How can I match the Color Palette used in Package X, within EnSight? 

If you know the RGB fractions for each band in the palette, you can just create your own EnSight Color Palette file (.cpal) -- > See UserManual for details.

However, what if you don't know what the RGB fractions are, but do have an image file containing the color legend? Well, with the help of EnSight's provided Python and EnVe, you can utilize this script to extract out the colors from the legend, and create an EnSight Color Palette file automatically.
