As introduced in the third tutorial, the use of Queries in EnSight is powerful mechanism to view reduced information. Taking the 3D volume information over time, and being able to quantify and graph the salient values and key metrics from the solution are critical to extracting out the information from the solution. As such, we have continued on with the tutorial series with the fourth installment, focusing on queries themselves.
There are a multitude of different ways to use queries to illustrate reduced order information. The ability to overlay different queries on the same graph (plotter), or to extract the values from the queries to be used in Excel or further data analysis mechanism is very important. This video illustrates additional capability and methods to work with queries within EnSight.
