convert evo file from the command line?

Does anyone have an example of running EnVe from the command line so that I can convert an .evo file to a .mp4 file?

Eric,

open EnVe from command line with "enve40 -nogui my_conv.py" (enve*, depending on your installer version). The script my_conv.py should look like this:

mov = enve.movie(enve.MOVIE_READ)
mov.filename = "ani.evo" # Name of your file to convert
mov.open()
fmp = enve.movie(enve.MOVIE_WRITE)
fmp.filename = "myoutputfile"
fmp.format = "MPEG"
fmp.addcount(mov)
fmp.open()
fmp.append(mov)
fmp.close()
mov.close()
